The Illinois League of Conservation Voters (ILCV) is a statewide, nonpartisan organization dedicated full-time to electing environment-friendly candidates to office. ILCV is also committed to raising awareness about environmental issues affecting Illinois residents. Founded in 2004 with the mission of forging a better environment one candidate at a time, ILCV has played a significant role in several political races – one that continues to grow and strengthen each day. As the plight of our natural environment takes center stage in local, state and federal politics, ILCV is at the forefront of finding solutions and supporting candidates willing to implement those solutions. With a membership of nearly 10,000 individuals and organizations, ILCV is proud to be one of the strongest advocates for the environment in the state.
Our guiding philosophy is to embrace long-term, comprehensive solutions that will promote environmental, and thus economic and social, sustainability. It has become increasingly important to stimulate job growth by developing green business, and designing cutting-edge environmental technology that will change the course of global warming.
Please consider supporting the ILCV with a modest donation. Thank you!
